The website was designed by the Trees and Hedges team. Received the completed designs and set about to give the client an updatable website via a Content Management System.
The CMS includes functionality for adding / editing / deleting trees or shrubs (in their feature page 'Our Stock') plus the ability to upload their most recent stocklist. adding / editing / deleting images on their Our Plants page. The homepage displays a slideshow of the beautiful surroundings of the nursery and images of their huge nursery. The whole website is updatable from the About Us page to the Contact page.
I was contacted by the client needing a solution to making their website easier to use, easier to update and at the end of the day to have the freedom to add new information to their website when needed.
Their previous website was abit outdated. adding new information wasn't easy and their existing ASP CMS
(news and gallery sections) wasn't easy to use.
The whole site is controlled by the client via their Content Management System.
Eliminated the images and flash of the previous design and went for text and CSS for better indexing with search engines. The client also has control of page titles, descriptions and keywords, for better SEO.

As a member of freelancentral
I answered the call for assistance with regards to creating a web page that would allow teachers from all over the country to keep in touch with the work of the project as well as to share and download resources with each other.
The website is completely dynamic. Each and every page is created specifically for the clients intended content. The project lessons and resources are easily added / updated / removed. The website requires registration in order to access the lesson plans and resources, this is mainly to help the client to assess whether the lessons or resources are being utilised.
I approached this client as I had noticed they had an under construction banner on their website. Provided a full Content Management System, with every page being updatable on their website.
