it's amazing how things turn out. you couldn't plan it better. you couldn't imagine it happening.

this past friday i wasn't going to go "large" because on saturday morning was my stop smoking course. my decision to not go "large" flew out of the window though when to my surprise (and melanie's), my name actually got drawn and i did infact win an ipod nano. we had joked about it and i had told a few people around me that i was going to win it, but when they called my name i didn't quite believe it... a few tequila's later, i managed to force myself and ed to go home. i was so sick when we finally did get home.

i felt rotten all of saturday morning, nevermind some-one trying to get me to stop smoking, it seems a few tequilas do the job just fine!

i've managed to not smoke on sunday and so far so good for today. it's a little tough but it's not either. there are some key smokes that start winding you up. for me, i have discovered, it's the one i have after breakfast at work...

it's not as tough as i thought it would be and i am glad that i am now a non-smoker! yay!

oh and i have an ipod nano, woohoo!

once you've got it, you'll use it. i have been using it almost everywhere i take it. i've got it hooked up to my hifi and car systems... i no longer am forced to listen to the rubbish that the radio stations are playing and i get to change my playlist whenever i want. i am glad i won it!

there's a competition on with savanna. it starts with 2 lemons that walk around. when that happens, buy a savanna (or more) and fill in your name on the ticket they give you - you need to get the ticket from the girls that are walking around. return it and then later on (around 9pm) the draw starts. There are a ton of prizes but nothing as cool as the iPod...

the more savanna you buy, the more tickets you get to enter the draw. 20 savanna's would still be worth winning an iPod (heck, 50 would). luckily all it took was one...

and congrats for not smoking for the past month. i wonder (sometimes) if i'll make it that long :)
