long overdue
well, i think this must be a record, 2 months without blogging? things just got very hectic. i was thinking of back dating some posts i had in mind, but never got around to actually posting. i still might do so, so this'll be a shortish one.
next week is my 30th. i think this a monumental milestone? i still have to have a good sit down with myself and determine what 30 should mean to me personally. i haven't felt much about birthdays (or should i say ageing) and still don't 'worry' that i'm getting older. though, i do feel i should make some time to figure out if more of my dreams can come true beyond 30 (and before 40) and what steps / leaps i need to make for those dreams to come true.

hey boetie, i am having a party at the mcc. got quite a few people coming, will take plenty of pics and post them as soon as i can afterwards ;)
dyan: it would've been cool if you could've been here, infact it would've been very cool if all my friends and family could! you're really the jetsetter? all those places you are going to, wow! i'm jealous... i had a wild night last night. it started pretty tame, watching the sa rugby teams beat the competition in the super 14 semi's and then we opened some jagermeister and red bulls. everything seemed fine, but later i was a little 'lost'. my system seems to be in shock today :)

Happy birthday for next week. I hope you have a fantastic time. Wish I was there. Turning 30 is great. You're old enough to know better and still young enough not to give a damn!
At the moment I'm in India and next week I'll be in Egypt. i'm looking forward to Egypt as my Dad has been there and can't stop raving about the place. He loved it - hopefully I will too. After Egypt we'll be in Italy and then Monte Carlo. All is good at the moment. My hangover has finally died down and now I'm just tired. I think I'll go to bed early tonight....Last night was a wild party, beginning with the Captain's birthday party, followed by a live rock band in the crew bar and ending in an after party in someones cabin. All in all a very successful night - the parts I can remember anyway.
Anywhoo, my bed is calling. Have fun turning 30!!!!
