kids are listening to this...
i saw that an 'artist' called lady gaga was big on the charts so i had a listen to the chart-topping song, dance. didn't get it in all honesty, why is everyone raving about it?
so, lady gaga has released a new song called pokerface. so what? well, while driving around earlier today the song came on the radio and it's only really the 2nd time i have had a listen. the first time was when i saw the music video and in all honesty was probably overwhelmed by the visuals and didn't get a good listen to the lyrics. but i had to say to myself upon hearing the lyrics earlier in the car, wtf?

i am really concerned about the rough love part of the song, what kind of message is this sending to the young people listening to this? are the girls thinking that 'rough love' is acceptable and do guys now think that the girls like 'rough love'. this is opening an avenue for abuse in my opinion. maybe i am reading too much into it but in all honesty i had the following lyrics to listen to when i was an impressionable young-un:
