a welcome warmth

yesterday was a beautiful warm day in cape town, with a max temperature of 27 degrees. although it's not going to last... today saw the arrival of another cold front, it's currently overcast but not cold.

i left work a little earlier than normal and got stuck in a bottle-neck thanks to an accident on n1 coming into town, no doubt the rubber-neckers were causing the huge delay. so i hoped off and went home via the scenic beach road routes, which was flowing rather nicely. the sunset was awesome and i had to stop and take some pictures. when i finally hit melkbos, i went straight to the beach at 1st avenue and snapped some pics there too, below is a small panoramic view of the sunset i caught there.

last thursday i uploaded alot of pictures from our w/end away in bot rivier, which was very cool. ed and i are going to try and get our asses out there this w/end, to possibly look at investing in a holiday home.

i will be working on getting my other scenic, sunset pics into a gallery asap.
