the party

on friday the 13th, lloyd and i had a joint birthday party (his birthday being on the saturday and mine was yesterday).

the party and turnout was great, even though it was a chilly.

i charged my camera all day in anticipation of taking loads of pictures but only managed to take these two:

ed also managed to take some pics, here they are:

we spent a good deal of the day setting up anti-rain measures, when the wind in the late afternoon managed to rip a good deal of it away. so then we put up some wooden boards on the patio beams... and it never even rained, but the boards helped keep the warmth in from the chilly breeze.

we also had drums around the yard with fire in them to keep the people warm (and the house clean-ish). we really should've taken more pictures because it looked really cool, but alas we were too busy having fun!

a good time was had by all and the cops never came around!

it looks like paul adams because it is paul adams. his g/friend used to live with us, so we came to know each other and we hang out sometimes.

the grass picture... well, i just don't remember to tell you the truth.

and the reason for 2 pics only, well, i was just busy having fun (and completely forgot about it). nassty, i wish had taken more too...

Well, i don't think much of the photo of the patch of grass....was there some hidden meaning behind that one that i am missing?? hmmm.

Belated Happy Birthday squid, sounds like it was a good one (I was going to say "looks like"... but..). That guy in ed's first photo looks like Paul Adams!
